Thank you to everyone that has signed on to play for us for next season. I am pleased to say that we have a healthy squad of 14 players - and i'm really looking forward to next season when we move into Under 15's and can really show the opposition how to play football......

Remember lads - during the summer months I want you to eat football, drink football and sleep football.........

The squad for next season is - Alex, Antonio, Billy, Dan, Harry, Harvey, Jake C, Jake D, Jake M, Jimmy, Luke, George, Macca, Sean.

I am willing to sign just 1 more player only if - they are a good quality player and have good ability. Please let me know if you know someone just like that.

A brief report of the 2009 / 2010 season.  It has certainly been an entertaining season for the team with many highlights. We’ve been scoring lots of goals, playing some wonderful football and really battled our hearts out. We’ve struggled for consistency as injuries, players going awol and last minute absentees have hampered team preparation. This has meant a number of the boys have been played out of their normal position just so we can put a team together. I can't thank the boys enough.

Winning the Easter Tournament was a magnificent achievement and you should all feel very proud of yourselves.

I’m excited about next season when I know we will be a force to be reckoned with.

 Managers Duties

• Monitor League website for details of matches.
• Book a pitch for each game.
• Telephone opposing Manager to arrange each game.
• Update WYFC Website.
• Keep Parents informed of Match details.
• Telephone the allocated Referee. If no Referee allocated, contact each Referee from the list in-turn to see if they could Referee our game.
• Telephone Match Result into League.
• If match has been Postponed - contact a different number in addition to this.
• Complete On-Line Result card and submit to the League.
• Update WYFC Website with Match Report.
• Organise Training.
• Maintain team Finances.
• Attend Meetings.
