Players
- Must attend training and matches in the proper clothing. Shinpads must be worn at all times
- Follow the instructions of the Team Manager and Coaches. Their decision is final.
- Play fair, always attempt to beat opponents only by skill and endeavour
- Should not use foul or abusive language including racial abuse
- Observe and learn the laws of Association Football
- Obey referees and linemen without question.
- Players must be courteous, polite and act in an orderly manner at all times towards all persons at the ground.
- Players must respect all equipment and facilities within the Trinity site , and assist in clearing up if requested by a WYFC official
Parents
- Ensure that Club subscriptions (and any fines) are paid promptly
- Ensure players arrive on time and are collected promptly
- Ensure that their child is not left unattended. Parents must assure themselves of the suitability of any adult that they leave their child with.
- Should not use foul or abusive language including racial abuse
- Are encouraged to support their team, but they are requested to only highlight good skill rather than emphasising any negative aspects of a player’s performance.
- Should notify the WYFC coaching staff of any medical condition or illness that may affect a player’s performance during training or a match.
- Should contact the WYFC Operations Manger with any concern that cannot be resolved by the team manger. The team manager should always be the point of contact.
- Check that that their car insurance includes cover for providing a lift to team members
- Finally please let the players play, coaches coach, Referees ref and Managers to pick the team…
Managers, Volunteers and Club Officials
- All officials must respect the rights, dignity and worth of each and every person and treat each equally within the context of the sport.
- All officials must place the well being and safety of each player above all other considerations, including the development of performance.
- All officials must adhere to all guidelines laid down by governing bodies.
- All officials must develop an appropriate working relationship with each player based on mutual trust and respect.
- Officials must not exert undue influence to obtain personal benefit or reward.
- All officials must encourage and guide players to accept responsibility for their own behaviour and performance.
- All officials must ensure that the activities they direct or advocate are appropriate for the age, maturity, experience and ability of players.
- All officials should, at the outset, clarify with the players (and where appropriate, parent) exactly what is expected of them and also what they are entitled to expect from their coach.
- All officials must co-operate fully with other specialists (e.g. other coaches, officials, sports scientists, doctors, physiotherapists) in the best interests of the player.
- Officials must always promote the positive aspects of the sport (e.g. fair play) and never condone violations of the laws of the Game, behaviour contrary to the spirit of the Laws of the Game or relevant rules and regulations of the use of prohibited substances or techniques.
- All officials must consistently display high standards or behaviour and appearance.
- All officials must not use or tolerate inappropriate language
- No official should approach a player or parent of another team (either another Ware Youth team or a team outside of WYFC) without the permission of the team manager. Any approach made to the manager by a WYFC player or parent should be reported to the player’s existing team manager, or a committee member
