Holiday season means that I am only today announcing winners for July and August...also please be patient about receiving your cheque for same reason.  Century Club welcomes newcomers at any time; you can fill in a form from the web link on the left and leave it at the club for my attention - Darran Mustoe.

A big thank you to everyone who has now  registered for the coming season.
Unfortunately some standing order forms have not been processed.  Barclays Bank appear to be returning some forms to parents requesting the club's sort code (Barclays was in fact advised of the sort code when the forms were presented to the bank!) If you bank with Barclays and your form is returned please re-submit this and advise the bank of the club's sort code (60-10-39).  Please do this as soon as possible as the first payment is due on 1 September.

 Sue Thomas will be at the clubhouse this coming Saturday 14th August from 10am unti midday to complete any remaining registations.

To whom it may concern. The Club shuts down in July primarily to give the pitches a chance to recover for the new season.

Whilst you may enjoy playing football on our quiet empty pitches you are damaging them and trespassing.

Our neighbours have agreed to telephone the police in the event that they see any unauthorised access in July.

If we discover any Ware Youth players using the pitches then we will take disciplinary action against them culminating in suspension from the Club.

The club is now in shutdown mode for July. Subject to technical hitches we will be launching the new season with a refreshed website. To find out when your team starts back at training please come back to your team page at the appropriate time.

Have a good summer break.

A group of Year 10 students came up to the club and did some volunteer work this week; for example a much needed litter pick was done around the club fencing.

Some of the students also picked up some new skills - learning to sow grass seed and learning to build goals.

The students were a credit to their school

Ware Youth are hosting an open evening at their Ground at Fanhams Hall Road, Ware on Monday 28th June. Come along for a training session, tour the clubhouse, take a look at our new state of the art multimedia training suite and meet the managers and volunteers.

We are currently recruiting players of all abilities at under 7s, under 8s, under 9s, under 11s, under 12s and premiership players for our under 15s.

Clubhouse tour starts at 6.30 with open training sessions starting at 7.00

A note to all ware youth players and parents - please come along if you would like to become involved in taster training sessions etc.

To all Parents and Managers

If you have still not registered your child there are 2 more registration nights remaining. Sue Thomas will be at the clubhouse on Wednesday 23rd June 6pm until 7pm and Wednesday 30th June 6pm until 7pm.

Please can you all make sure your players are all registered by these dates.

AGM

The AGM will be held at at the Clubhouse on June 30th at 7.30. The meeting is open to all WYFC members and it is mandatory for managers to attend. We will also hold the vote for Manager of the Year and mini soccer coach of the year at this meeting.

Registrations

Open registration evenings are taking place at the club this week mon-thurs from 6-8.

Managers must return last seasons id cards to Sue Thomas. Parents will need to bring two passport photos, payment for their signing on fee, and bank account details to the registration evening. Players without a registration card will need to bring a copy of a passport or birth certificate. Photocopying facilities are available at the club if required.

Presentation

This will be held at Wodson Park on the 4th of July. Players who played on a saturday last year should arrive for a 4 pm start and Sunday players should arrive for a 5.30 start.
