The club is making a donation to Cardiac Risk in the Young to support Mathew's brother Mark and his family. For those who don't know Mathew played for Panshanger FC and died early this year in very sudden circumstances. Mark is doing a sponsored walk covering the eight famous bridges in London to raise money for a charity that invests money into research into sudden infant deaths caused by undiagnosed heart conditions. If you would like to make a personal donation then please follow the link below http://www.justgiving.com/mathewblease

Ware Youth is one of the largest Youth Football clubs in Hertfordshire with over 300 boys and girls registered on an annual basis. We are run as a not for profit organisation with all club fees and revenue being ploughed back into improving our facilities and improving our footballers time with their club. Our primary purpose as a club is to provide as many boys and girls as possible with the opportunity to play football in a safe and supportive environment. The club will never turn away a player from the club solely on their ability. The club does not have a ‘win at all costs’ mentality and we believe that all players should be given as many opportunities to play throughout the season as possible. The club believes in playing children within their appropriate ability level therefore we stream our teams from the age of 10 onwards ensuring that a child plays at the level that is best suited to their ability. We strongly believe that the focus in a childs early years should be on individual player development and not the result. Our teams play in the Mid Herts Rural Minors League ( MHRML). This is a well organised league with teams competing at all levels of ability. Ware Youth has one of the largest number of teams competing in the league and plays an active part in the League structure. All of our Managers have obtained as a minimum Level 1 FA Certification or are actively working towards it. We insist on our managers coaching their children in a supportive atmosphere without pressure to succeed at all costs. The club is proud of its Chartermark status and is constantly seeking to improve it’s coaching at all levels hence we have a specific club position of Director of Football to take overall responsibility for coaching standards within the club and we actively support any managers who wish to pursue advanced FA Coaching badges. We regularly run coaching courses for parents interested in becoming involved with the coaching side and we also run goalkeeping and referee courses at the club. Please sign the guestbook while you are here! |
